DESCRIPTION:The Icefjord Midnight Marathon returns on Saturday\, 30 May 2026\, in magical Ilulissat\, Greenland\, this means running through the night lit by the midnight sun. Runners can challenge themselves in the full 42.195 km marathon (start 21:00) or opt for the 21.1 km half marathon (start 22:30)\, with cut‑off times at 7 and 5½ hours respectively. The route\, beginning and finishing at Hotel Hvide Falk\, winds along gravel\, rocky trails\, asphalt\, and boardwalks\, skirting the edge of Ilulissat and the UNESCO-listed Icefjord\, offering stunning iceberg views. Please be aware that this is an expensive race as entry is only available to international runners as part of a multi-day guided tour package (flights from Copenhagen\, 5‑night accommodation\, meals\, and excursions) starting from around €3\,100.
