SUMMARY:Isle of Man Marathon & Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The Isle of Man Marathon & Half Marathon\, organized by the Isle of Man Veteran Athletes’ Club and branded with sponsors such as Altenar or Microgaming\, takes place 10  August 2026 in Ramsey on the northeastern coast. Both the marathon (42.195 km) and half marathon (21.1 km) follow the 21K “Manx Northern” loop starting from Mooragh Promenade and finishing in Ballacloan Stadium. With approximately 239 m of elevation\, the course climbs to about 80 meters around 6 km\, then eases onto flatter stretches and provides scenic coastal and rural views Isle of Man. Cut‑off for the full marathon is six hours\, with aid stations roughly every 5 kilometers. \nDespite being a smaller\, community‑focused event welcoming only a few hundred runners\, the race enjoys a warm atmosphere and growing popularity with record entries reported in recent years. It is the opening leg of the “No Rest for the Wicked” week‑long series of races.
