The course begins with a flat stretch through Interlaken and along Lake Brienz\, then climbs steeply through alpine villages like Lauterbrunnen and Wengen\, culminating near the Eiger’s North Face. Participants are treated to a festive atmosphere\, with local traditions such as alphorn players and flag throwers enhancing the experience.  The event is attracting over 4\,000 runners from around the globe.
