This race starts in Interlaken and ascends approximately 1\,823 meters (!) to the finish at the Eiger Glacier\, offering runners breathtaking views of the Eiger\, Mönch\, and Jungfrau mountains. The course begins with a flat stretch through Interlaken and along Lake Brienz\, then climbs steeply through alpine villages like Lauterbrunnen and Wengen\, culminating near the Eiger’s North Face. Participants are treated to a festive atmosphere\, with local traditions such as alphorn players and flag throwers enhancing the experience.  The event is attracting over 4\,000 runners from around the globe.
