Bruggenloop Rotterdam

The DSW Bruggenloop Rotterdam is a celebrated annual running event that takes place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The 2025 edition is scheduled for Sunday, 14 December, offering participants an amazing 15-kilometer course that crosses the city’s most iconic bridges.

Starting and finishing at Stadion Feijenoord (“the Kuip”), the route guides runners over several of Rotterdam’s most renowned bridges, including the Erasmusbrug and the Willemsbrug. The event is particularly notable for its timing during the late afternoon in December, allowing participants to experience the city’s skyline illuminated against the winter evening sky.

The Bruggenloop is also known for its festive atmosphere which is more relaxed compared to the Rotterdam Marathon in April. It is often considered the city’s end-of-year running celebration.
