Day One Events

Not at all! Nobody needs to be an experienced runner to join our Day One program. Our programs cater to all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced runners. Via our onboarding program we develop tailored plans to match individual abilities and goals. It is not about achieving a certain time, it is about realizing goals together with your colleagues on your own pace.

You can find all upcoming Day One events on our Day One events page. Simply select the run you’re interested in, and you’ll see the registration form right away. Registration typically opens about two months before each event, and the exact sign-up date is always displayed on the event page.”

No problem! Even when your company has multiple locations we create flexible programs that work across different time zones and locations, ensuring all employees can participate. Our onboarding program can be done online as well, so that should be no problem for companies with multiple locations.

As a member of the Day One community you can join our Day One events free-of-charge. If you are not a member (yet) we offer the opportunity to join the first event for free so you can see if this is something for you. Our events can be found on our events page and on nextrace.nl.

Keeping our runs fun and exciting is what makes us unique and stand-out from traditional runs! We always include a network drink which allows you to meet fellow runners that share the same passion. Also, our runs are typically structured around a creative theme, providing just another level of depth to your running experience!

Absolutely! We do offer training runs. We have a weekly Day One running group in Amsterdam which takes place every Wednesday evening. We are looking to expand this further across other cities in the Netherlands. It is a great way of getting to know new people that share the same passion and enthusiasm as you.

If employees have health concerns or injuries we request them to be open and upfront about this so we can accommodate our schedules to this situation. During our onboarding process, this is one of the items we discuss with all potential new joiners. We do offer modified plans for those with health concerns or recovering from injuries. However, Day One can still be a great and exciting opportunity for them.

No, your employees do not need special equipment to participate in the Day One program. All they need is a good pair of running shoes and comfortable workout clothes. We provide guidance on gear recommendations if needed.

Yes, Day One can provide branded materials (apparel) for participant companies. We can create custom race outfits, T-shirts, singlets, jackers and other (marketing) materials that align with your company’s branding and event theme. This is included from the “Gold” package onwards.

The Day One program is targeted to support companies in creating healthy employees that bond together through running. Therefore, we do not offer our services to individuals. But please do reach out to us so we can see if we can help you to make Day One a success for your company as well!
